Rear Geared Hub Motor Wheel (500W–1000W)

The E-BikeKit™ Rear Geared Hub Motor Wheel combines a powerful internally geared motor with a professionally hand-built wheel for smooth, efficient, everyday riding.

Every wheel is built by hand in Pennsylvania, USA using a double-wall, eyeletted rim, 12-gauge stainless steel spokes, and brass nipples. This construction ensures precise spoke tension, excellent strength, and long service life.

This rear motor wheel is engineered specifically for use with E-BikeKit controllers, wiring, and batteries. While similar components may appear compatible, proper operation and long-term reliability cannot be guaranteed when used with third-party systems.

Rear drivetrain note: A freewheel is not included when purchasing the motor as a wheel-only option and must be selected separately if needed.

Installation: Many customers install this wheel themselves using basic tools. A local bike shop can also complete installation quickly if preferred.
