Rear Direct-Drive Hub Motor Wheel (500W–1000W)

The E-BikeKit™ Rear Direct-Drive Hub Motor Wheel is built for riders who want smooth power delivery, long-term durability, and quiet operation. Direct-drive motors are known for their simplicity, reliability, and ability to handle continuous use.

Every wheel is built by hand in Pennsylvania, USA using a double-wall, eyeletted rim, 12-gauge stainless steel spokes, and brass nipples. This construction ensures precise spoke tension and excellent strength for long service life.

This motor wheel is engineered specifically for use with E-BikeKit controllers, wiring, and batteries. While similar components may appear compatible, proper operation, performance, and long-term reliability cannot be guaranteed when used with third-party systems.

Wheel-only note: A freewheel is not included when purchasing this motor as a wheel-only option and must be selected separately if required.

Motor cable: Certain E-BikeKit systems require a compatible motor cable. See the E-BikeKit motor cable if your system uses an external LCD and modular wiring.

Installation: Many customers install this wheel themselves using standard tools. A local bike shop can also complete installation if preferred.
