Convert Your Sunseeker EZ-Tad to Electric

The E-BikeKit™ EZ-Tad Conversion Kit includes specialized components designed to fit the EZ-Tad platform properly, maintaining correct balance, drivetrain geometry, and ride characteristics.

At the core of the system is a rear 500W internally geared hub motor with a 5:1 planetary gear reduction and internal clutch. The clutch allows zero drag when pedaling without power, while the geared design delivers strong low-speed torque and improved hill-climbing ability.

Compared to a direct-drive motor of similar power, this geared motor is lighter, more efficient, and better suited to stop-and-go riding, helping extend range and reduce overall system weight.

• 48V controller with pedal-assist support

• Throttle
• Locking parking brake levers
• Required wiring harnesses and hardware

Battery mount upgrade: An optional mounting solution is now available that positions the battery behind the seat for a cleaner look, proper weight distribution, and improved usability. Select this option from the dropdown if desired.

Who is this kit for? This system is ideal for riders who want high efficiency, lighter weight, strong starting torque, and smooth performance on a recumbent trike. The total system load limit is 300 lbs. Riders exceeding this should consider a heavy-duty system instead.
