This E-TrikeKit conversion system is engineered specifically for upright adult tricycles like the Sun Baja. The direct-drive hub motor delivers strong low-speed torque with a reduced top speed—key safety advantages for three-wheel riding.

The system includes modern electronics such as an LCD display, a 48V controller, speed-limited reverse (approximately 30% of forward speed), and locking e-brake levers—giving the rider full control over power delivery and speed.

Battery options: This kit is available without a battery for riders who already have a compatible 36V or 48V battery. Orders shipped without a battery do not incur hazmat shipping fees.

Optional battery mounting kit: When selected, this kit includes the battery mounting plate and all required hardware to securely mount the battery behind the basket, as shown in the product photos. This maintains proper weight balance while preserving full basket functionality.
