E-TrikeKit™ Adult Tricycle Conversion System

The E-TrikeKit™ is designed from the ground up for conventional upright adult tricycles. Unlike bicycle-focused systems, this kit uses a heavy-duty direct-drive hub motor tuned for low-speed torque and controlled top speed—key characteristics for safe three-wheel operation.

The direct-drive motor delivers smooth, predictable power with no internal gears, making it extremely durable under heavier loads. A built-in speed-limited reverse (approximately 30% of forward speed) makes backing up an upright trike easy and controlled.

The system includes a programmable LCD display, 48V controller, pedal-assist, throttle control, and locking parking brake levers, giving the rider full confidence and control in everyday use.

Who is this kit for? Riders using upright adult tricycles who want maximum stability, strong pulling power, and safe speed control. This system is ideal for mobility, recreation, and utility riding where balance and control matter most.

This system may be ordered with or without a battery. When included, the battery is a 48V lithium-ion pack with a built-in mounting rail designed to attach using two standard water-bottle bosses.

No additional battery mounting hardware is included or assumed. Battery placement depends on your tricycle’s frame design and the rider’s preference. Common mounting locations include the downtube area, a custom mounting plate, or a battery bag on a rear rack.
