The E-BikeKit 48V 15Ah battery combines high-capacity 21700 cells, strong discharge capability, and a removable locking case for dependable everyday use on compatible electric bikes and trikes.

The E-BikeKit 48V 15Ah Li-Ion Downtube Battery Pack provides approximately 720Wh of energy in a compact, removable downtube-style case.

The updated battery uses 21700 lithium-ion cells in a 13S3P configuration and supports up to 30A continuous discharge, providing ample current capability for current E-BikeKit conversion systems.

The battery slides into a four-blade contact cradle and locks securely into place with the supplied key. Four blade contacts on the underside of the battery mate with four electrical contacts in the cradle, providing the battery-to-system power connection.

The side-release design makes the battery easy to remove for charging, storage, or replacement.

Connector compatibility: The battery/cradle assembly uses the current E-BikeKit 5-pin twist connector for connection to the controller.
If your controller has an older 2-prong male battery connector, an adapter is required. Our team can help confirm compatibility before ordering.

Replacing an existing battery? In addition to checking the controller-side connector, confirm that your existing battery uses the same four-blade contact cradle. Older E-BikeKit batteries and mounting systems may use a different cradle/contact configuration.

Installation: The battery cradle mounts to a compatible frame or battery mounting system. Many customers can complete installation with basic bicycle tools, although professional bicycle-shop installation is recommended if you are unsure about mounting, wiring, or fitment.

The current 48V 15Ah E-BikeKit battery uses a four-blade contact cradle. Four blade contacts on the underside of the battery connect directly to four mating electrical contacts in the cradle.
