Over the years our lineup has grown, and as a result, the offering has become more complicated than it needs to be. Specifically, this year we introduced a 500w geared motor option to the lineup and that has created some redundancy.
Before outlining changes, I would like to ensure everyone that we will be stocking enough inventory of previously sold parts for a long enough time to ensure all warranties and replacements are available if needed. Also, since we have a large amount of these discontinued items in stock now, we are offering an additional 20% discount on all discontinued items while supplies last.

Changes to components:
In 2015, both the E-BikeKit and the E-TrikeKit will share the same controller and LCD Display. Certain cables and components will change to support this.
The 2015 lineup will look like this:

E-TrikeKit™ - Specifically designed for adult upright tricycles

Important: While we will not offer the combination of the E-BikeKit components with the high-torque direct-drive motors on our website, THIS OPTION WILL BE AVAILABLE to those that require it. That would be a “Heavy-Duty” system with 500w Direct-Drive Motor (high-torque/low speed winding) (600lbs max load) (basically E-BikeKit components paired with an E-TrikeKit motor)

NEW! LiFePO4 Battery Packs
In 2015 Electric Bike Technologies will introduce our own LiFePO4 battery pack! A 36v10ah and a 48v10ah will be available starting in March of 2015. Both will be rear rack mounted. We will also offer the accompanying racks.
