The E-BikeKit Rear Wheel Conversion System is our complete rear hub motor conversion system, designed for strong traction, clean installation, reduced wiring, premium ride quality, and simplified long-term serviceability.

Built around the latest SINET™ electronics, this system delivers quiet sine-wave motor control, refined throttle response, smooth pedal-assist performance, and an intuitive full-color display. The controller is integrated into the battery cradle, creating a cleaner layout with fewer external components. The rear wheel system is configured by wheel size, rear dropout spacing, disc brake compatibility, and freewheel selection.

Display Mounting Note:

This system does not include a Topeak® BarXtender or other LCD display mounting extension. Most standard bicycle installations mount the display directly to the handlebars. Some bicycles and many adult tricycles may require an extension to properly position the display due to baskets, handlebar shape, or steering geometry. If required, the installer must supply an appropriate display mounting solution.

This battery-included system combines the battery, controller, and battery cradle into one clean assembly. This reduces external wiring, simplifies installation, and creates a more professional factory-style appearance.

Cadence Sensor

The standard cadence sensor detects crank rotation to provide dependable pedal assistance that is simple to install and compatible with most bicycles and tricycles.

Bottom Bracket Torque Sensor

Which should you choose? Cadence sensing is simpler to install and provides dependable traditional pedal assist. Torque sensing provides a more natural, proportional response but requires compatible 68 mm square-taper bottom bracket fitment and a more involved installation.

The E-BikeKit Rear Wheel Conversion System is designed for installation on compatible bicycles, adult tricycles, cargo bikes, and specialty cycles with the correct rear dropout spacing, brake configuration, and freewheel setup.

Requirements:

• Select the correct rear wheel size for the application
• Select the correct rear dropout spacing
• Select the correct disc brake or non-disc rear wheel configuration
• Select the correct freewheel for your drivetrain
• Torque arms must be installed where required
• Integrated battery/controller cradle must be mounted securely in an appropriate location
• Verify bottom bracket compatibility when selecting the torque sensor option

Not Compatible With:

• Rear thru-axle frames
• Weak or damaged rear dropouts
• Rear frames with spacing that does not match the selected wheel configuration
• Brake setups that do not match the selected disc or non-disc wheel configuration
• Drivetrain setups that do not match the selected freewheel
• Frames without a suitable location to securely mount the integrated battery/controller cradle
• Bottom brackets incompatible with the selected pedal assist system

Installing a rear-wheel electric conversion system requires mechanical bicycle work as well as mounting and routing the electrical components. Professional bicycle-shop installation is recommended if you are not experienced with bicycle wheels, brakes, drivetrains, and electrical conversion systems.

• Install the motor wheel into the correct rear dropout spacing
• Install the selected freewheel as required
• Confirm disc brake or non-disc brake compatibility before final installation
• Install torque arms and tighten axle hardware properly
• Mount the integrated battery/controller cradle securely
• Install the 48V 15Ah battery into the integrated cradle
• Install the display, throttle, brake levers, and selected pedal assist system
• Route wiring away from moving parts and sharp edges
• Verify brake cutoffs, throttle operation, pedal assist, drivetrain clearance, battery fitment, and display settings before riding
