High-Performance Rear-Wheel E-BikeKit Conversion System

The E-BikeKit™ Rear Geared Hub Motor Conversion Kit is our most performance-oriented rear-wheel system, ideal for riders who want higher cruising speeds, strong acceleration, and a lighter overall feel than direct-drive motors.

This system uses a 500W internally geared hub motor with a 5:1 planetary reduction and internal clutch. The clutch provides zero drag when pedaling without power, while the geared design delivers excellent torque, efficient power delivery, and strong hill-climbing performance.

Rear-wheel configuration: This system is built as a rear motor wheel and requires selecting the following options to ensure proper fit:

• Wheel size
• Freewheel (7-speed standard, others available)
• Rear dropout spacing (OLD)
• Disc-brake or non-disc configuration

Rear wheels are assembled and dished to match your selected configuration. Because frames vary, some installations may require minor adjustments.

Who is this kit for? Riders who want top speed, responsive acceleration, and a lightweight feel. Recommended for total system loads up to 300 lbs. Heavier applications should use a heavy-duty direct-drive system.

This system may be ordered with or without a battery. When included, the standard 48V lithium-ion battery is designed to mount on the downtube using water-bottle bosses.

No dedicated battery mounting kit is included or assumed. Battery placement depends on your frame design and preferences. Many riders mount the battery on the downtube, in a frame bag, or on a rear rack using a soft or hard battery enclosure.
